About Olemco

A real safeguarding tool for grassroots clubs.

Olemco is a safeguarding-first platform for grassroots football clubs. Most grassroots committees can't afford professional grade safeguarding tools, and end up relying on spreadsheets, paper records, and a patchwork of free apps. Olemco integrates team management, safeguarding case work, and matchday safety into one platform. Our automated tools allow coaches to spend more time coaching while ensuring no corners are cut from safeguarding and welfare.

The platform exists to make children playing grassroots sport safer, by giving the volunteers who run their clubs real support with professional grade tools.

What we're working on right now

June to August 2026 — opening the first season at our pilot club.

Whats Live.

  • Olemco's Safe Recruitment — Welfare Officers need to be verified in order to support their club. Meaning your Welfare Officer on Olemco has their Enhanced DBS, FA Safeguarding Certification & FA Welfare Officer Certificate.
  • Manager Safe Recruitment — If your manager is on Olemco its because they meet the FA's standards. That means Enhanced DBS, First Aid In Football & FA's Safeguarding certificates. Without them, they can't access your team keeping our sport safe for everybody.
  • Global Venues Database — All the information baked in to automatically create Medical Emergency Action Plans for every fixture and training session giving managers more time for coaching.

What we're working on.

  • Safeguarding case management — report a concern in a few taps; routed to the DSO, audit-trailed at the database level. Lands V1.5.
  • Fixtures, training, MEAPs, RSVPs — create fixtures end-to-end with venue emergency action plans auto-attached, parents RSVPing per child, and a pre-match safety checklist run from the manager's phone.
  • Subscriptions via GoCardless — monthly subs collected by direct debit, reconciled automatically. No more hours per month spent matching bank lines to children for the club treasurer.

What's coming next

  • Concussion return-to-play register — auto-populated from head-injury incidents; 21-day stand-down enforced inside the squad picker so a concussed player can't be selected. Coaches receive support around how to safely bring players back into training and matchdays.
  • Per-venue automatic Emergency Action Plans — photo of the venue, defib location, nearest A&E, ambulance access & parking. Attached automatically to every fixture and sharable.
  • Multi-sport — designed from day one to extend to rugby, cricket, netball, hockey — separately governed but with the same safeguarding shape.
